Evelyn loves dandelions. There are quite a lot around these days and if you ask her ALL of them need to be picked. :) This makes trips to get the mail, trips to bring in the trash cans, trips out to the car to run errands etc all much more exciting. At the end she usually realizes that the pollen has rubbed off onto her hands and her hands are all yellow and grass stained. This causes much consternation, almost as much as leaving a few dandelions still unpicked. :) Needless to say, we have lots of dandelions around our house these days. :)
This past weekend was our church work day and Evie and I were on the weeding committee. I weeded the playground and flower beds and she picked dandelions. One of the youth group girls made her this beautiful crown and we got her a cup so she could carry all her pickings more easily. She was sooooo pleased! :)
